We are now looking for a 

Project Management Specialist

to join our Project Planning & Development -team in Research & Development and Engineering function to strengthen our project management capabilities. The position is permanent and located in Vaasa or Turku, Finland or Trieste, Italy.

As a Project Management Specialist, you will be supporting our development projects and initiatives with Project Management and Controlling related areas. You will be working closely with project teams with topics such as project scheduling, budgeting, scoping, resource- and risk management as well as ensuring our practices follow the guidelines and processes. In addition, you further develop our practices and way of working to continuously improve our performance. Your role will be to act as an integrator and facilitator in project teams to ensure we are reaching our objectives and targets.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and ensure high quality project plan, including time schedules, budget plans, risk analysis and resource plans, in co-operation with the Project Manager and project team
• Monitor the progress of projects, manage changes and update the plan according to needs

• Project Management development and deployment activities, including acting as a mentor in all areas of project management and train related personnel
• Participate in system and tool development
• Maintain data quality and demonstrate projects compliance with Company Project Management Methodology, Financial Processes and Business Directives

About You

• You are energetic, positive and development-oriented person who holds a master’s degree in economics or industrial engineering
• You have work experience in the field of project management
• You value teamwork and work well with different people and stakeholders
• You will use English on daily basis in your work and skills in Finnish and/or Swedish would be a clear advantage
• Ability to present your work’s outcomes to the project team is essential as well as in general good communication skills
• Interest towards operational development -related activities will help you as we continuously aim to develop our way of working
• Even though teamwork is in the focus, you have the ability to be self-driven and can be productive when working independently

Experience in one or more of the following is seen as advantage:

• Project and program management
• Agile project management methodologies
• Development & implementation of processes/procedures
• Project Portfolio Management
• Experience in PowerBI and/or RPA
