You will drive and implement specification review activities for selected industry segments. You will establish and maintain continuous cooperation with multiple stakeholders such as industry segment managers, technical sales support team, R&D and production units. Your mission will be to ensure that sales guidelines to critical End Users and Industry Specifications are complete, updated and easily accessible to our sales organizations. In this role you will report to the Manager of Industry Segments, Product Marketing and Training.

Your responsibilities

Supporting Industry Segment Managers (ISM) in mapping the key End-Users and Industry Specifications applicable to Large Induction and Synchronous Motors offering strategy Preparing list of comments and deviations in collaboration with stakeholders in the organization Supporting technical discussions with End-Users and Industry Virtual Communities Supporting Industry Segment Managers in reaching technical agreements with target End-Users Creating instruction list for machines designs criteria and sales items selection criteria Systematically collaborating with sales tools team in implementing smart selections in MOLM product configurators logics Contributing in the development of international standards and regulations by supporting technical argumentations when influencing the appropriate bodies (including government, legislative bodies, technical and trade associations) Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

B.Sc. degree preferably in engineering 2+ years business experience in heavy industry with project business domain A customer-oriented and value driven approach Solid communicator and doer with high level of self-motivation and result oriented mindset Experience in Chemical, Oil and Gas industry would be considered a plus Fluent written and verbal communication in English (multiple languages a plus) and ability to work as part of a cross-functional team while maintaining independent thinking
