UPM Credit Risk Management is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst / Junior Credit Risk Analyst for a permanent position located in Helsinki, Finland.

What you’ll do

In this position, you will:

  • Assess, analyze and interpret financial information according to Credit Risk Management rules and set credit limits

  • Monitor portfolio development and take timely actions when needed

  • Actively seek relevant information on market developments and other areas

  • Work together with sales, customers service, collection, and other stakeholders to mitigate credit risks

  • Proactively contact UPM customers for additional information

  • Interview and visit customers, as agreed with your manager

Who you are

  • You have a Master’s degree in finance or accounting, or similar knowledge though relevant work experience

  • You have minimum 1-3 years’ work experience as a financial analyst or other relevant work experience

  • You have profound understanding of financial statements and business specific requirements

  • You have analytical and constructively critical mindset and are able to find and suggest solutions

  • You have excellent written and verbal English skills, fluency in other major European languages (German, French, Italian or Russian) is an asset

  • Your communication and team working skills are excellent and you can influence others

  • You have customer service mindset as well as accountability and integrity

  • You are flexible and able to travel
