We are looking for a Senior Information & Data architect to join the Data & Information Management unit. As a Senior Information & Data Architect you will help us simplify and standardize the data and information architecture. Together with the team you will define the policies and standards for how we design, use and exchange information in our system landscape as well as ensuring that such standards are followed by the development teams. 

The Data & Information management team is placed in Enterprise IT architecture and is responsible for the Data Management & Data Governance Framework at Telia Company.

The role includes, but is not limited to: 

• Documenting our information landscape and providing visualization of our information assets and flows
• Designing logical and conceptual data models 
• Designing the common product model in Telia Company, allowing variants and mapping it to the different parts of enterprise architecture (IT systems, processes, people, connect to taxonomy)
• Being responsible for creating and/or maintaining resource information model for Telia company and ensuring implementation as part of the target architecture
• Being responsible for creating and/or validating solution specific data models, integration models etc., in alignment with Telia company’s common information model, to ensure consistency and commonality across countries
• Defining principles, standards related to data design, development and integration for the company to enable enterprise level systems integration and modernization with high data quality
• Contributing towards data catalog, metadata, data lineage related initiatives along with analytics team

Your personality:

• You are positive, goal-oriented and can work as part of an international team
• You are focused on modern technologies, hence driving the organization in a futuristic perspective
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to express your ideas clearly to non-architecture stakeholders as well
• You think about implementation of defined architecture and strive to achieve this

Your Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in IT and 8+ years in data architecture, data modelling (UML/ER), SQL programming and related areas
• Technical leadership and the ability to work with a wider group of architects and other stakeholders to define, communicate and develop the data architecture within the scope of the role
• Understanding of current and future technology trends and the implications to future proof technology and business landscapes, such as cloud platforms, data services, APIs and integrations
• Knowledge about master data management, data governance
• Knowledgeable and well versed with master data management, metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, and the challenges in applying common models in organizations
• Ability to work in a large, complex organization with multiple stakeholders
• Telecommunications business understanding is a big plus
• You speak and write English fluently
