We are now looking for a Trader, Intraday to UPM Energy Optimization & Physical Trading team.

What you’ll do

• Trading in various intraday markets
• Managing UPM’s power balances
• Controlling hydro levels according to environmental regulation
• Dispatching hydro power plants under UPM Energy’s responsibility throughout Finland
• Publishing Urgent Market Messages according to REMIT regulation
• Work in a three shift rotation
• Interacting closely with UPM Energy Day-Ahead trading team, back-office team and other key stakeholders involved with especially hydro power production and power consumption

Who you are

• You have excellent knowledge of the Nordic power market and 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• You have a Master’s degree in engineering or related field
• Knowledge of IT-systems and ability to participate to our digital development is an asset
• You are proactive and self-oriented with strong social skills and creative mind
• You are fluent in Finnish and English
