Wärtsilä Shared Service Center (WSSC) supports the Wärtsilä companies in financial accounting or other operational tasks and acts as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance. WSSC strives to harmonise one global Wärtsilä way of working worldwide with high-quality, timely, effective and efficient processes. WSSC is sharing best practices and knowledge with a focus on continuous development and operational excellence. We are now seeking On-Call trainees to join our Payments team in Vaasa, Finland.

You have the possibility to work besides school, as the position is part-time. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.

As an On-Call trainee, your daily tasks will include:

  • Executing supplier and travel reimbursement payments, booking of bank statement transactions
  • Liquidity forecasting
  • Period-end closing activities related to payments
  • Improving the payment process through practical and active teamwork

You will shine in this role when you are/have:

  • Studying B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business Economics
  • Advanced English and other languages are seen as an advantage
  • Experience working in the shared service center
  • Open-minded and agile personality
  • Flexibility and good teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and proactive thinking
  • Can-do attitude and enjoy challenges
