Wärtsilä Energy Business is now looking for a Transport manager to lead, coordinate and manage transport cost estimates for Energy Business sales within the area of responsibility. As a Transport manager you will be working as a part of the EPP logistics team.

The position can be located in Vaasa or Helsinki, Finland.


As Transport Manager Sales Support your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Evaluating suitable transport methods for sales projects, including break bulk and container deliveries, engine installations, route surveys e.g.
  • Co-operation with forwarders to find competitive logistic solutions for Engine Power Plant & Energy Storage businesses
  • Managing project transports estimates for sales
  • Sales contract reviews in transport & logistics related matters
  • Developing transport estimation cost methods and tools
  • Other tasks related to transport estimations


The below will enable you to shine in this role:

  • Some years of working experience in logistics
  • Cost awareness & effectiveness
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate key elements in global transports
  • Systematic and organised way of working
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • M.Sc or B.Sc in technical or commercial area
  • Good command of English and Finnish, other languages are seen as an advantage
