We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a main responsibility in executing Product Development Projects for both Marine Power and Energy Business. This includes project planning, follow-up, financial reporting, on-time delivery and within the available budget. The preferred location for this position is in Vaasa Finland but also other Wärtsilä main locations are negotiable. In this position, remote working is an option too.  

Your role and responsibilities  

As a Technical Project Manager, you lead a project team consists of multi-disciplinary Senior Development Engineers, this includes early involvement in business cases, feasibility studies and complex project sales cases. The focus area shall be mainly 4-stroke engines however it could also be possible that involvement is required in the field of propulsion in general. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Project Services Delivery, Project Engineering team with diverse expertise.
