We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst or Strategy Development Manager for Wärtsilä Information Management to help us drive business strategy execution via digital capabilities and enablers. Digital capabilities will play a key role in the future business development of Wärtsilä and in our efforts to decarbonize the shipping and energy industries. You will be accountable for preparing, upholding and driving our IM and digital strategy execution plans with the goal of having common Wärtsilä wide digital enablers in place. You will play a key role in preparing IM and digital presentations to Wärtsilä board of management. You have a vision how to increase the business value of IT to improve profitable business growth. You bring you top class analytical, synthesis, presentation and change driving skills.

Vaasa or Helsinki

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, uphold and follow-up Wärtsilä strategic IM agenda on building digital enablers for the future
• Prepare, uphold and follow-up overall Wärtsilä IM strategy and actions plan together with IM management team
• Prepare Board of management level analyses and presentations regarding IM and digital topics across Wärtsilä
• Contribute to evolution of Wärtsilä IM function and moving of IM capabilities to the heart of our strategy execution
• Ensure reliable and high quality reporting out of IM function regarding contribution to business must win battles
• Support I&T heads of each business in leveraging maximum of IM capabilities in execution of strategic initiatives
• Own and drive special analysis projects with potential Wärtsilä wide scope and reporting to board of management 
• Support IM management team in strategy creation, analyses and direction setting on mid to long term horizon
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports that support and challenge IM MT decision-making regarding directional topics
• Support overall IM strategy and controlling function in evolving the IM operating system toward more value adding activities

Qualifications:

• Solid track record in support top management level analyses, presentations and special projects
• Exceptional analyses, synthesis, presentation creating skills with evidence of high performance
• High end consulting background is a plus or similar track record inside a company is a must
• Knowledge and experience from IT functions is a plus, passion to develop in IT/digital domain is a must
• Excellent presentation, consultative selling, collaboration and teamworking skills
• Being able to handle multiple activities simultaneously, achieve results and drive progress in a group
• Ability to adjust to continuous changes in business environment, tolerate risk and make mitigation scenarios 
• M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration or similar with evidence of class rank
• Fluent written and spoken English
