Today Elisa’s Design System team is working closely with 15 services and products from entertainment and eCommerce to self-services. We are now looking a visionary talent to help us to reach the next level.

As a Senior SoftwareDeveloper, you are working closely with our various businesses. You support various products and services to use the design system and ensure overall component contribution to the design system. You are also developing Design System way of working, workflows, and build a better overall design system culture at Elisa.

Your main tasks

• Lead the cultural change and delivery of our design systems and drive implementation of our brand in our product offerings with rest of the team by utilizing own core competences
• Own the design system roadmap with design system team at Elisa for Brand, Product, and Growth
• Drive the evolution of Elisa's pattern library
• Manage the implementation of the design system across the product ecosystem with rest of the DS team
• Design and define interaction patterns through components, documentation, and prototypes with designers & developers
• Work with developers to maintain and create new components for our library
• Partner with and support Brand and Marketing, and Product designers in using the design system
• Collaborate with developers across teams to curate new components and patterns
• Collaborate with User Research to test as needed to ensure usability, consistency, and accessibility
• Collaborate with Design Operations to build and maintain usage documentation
• Collaborate with Design and Product leadership to define Elisa accessibility standards
• Scale work across a variety of audiences, abilities, devices, and platforms
• Specify and maintain our core principles in visual style, typography, spacing, motion, and interaction models
• Assess consistency and coherence across our design system while identifying areas for improvement

We are looking for someone who

• Has 6+ years of experience in software development
• Has proven skills in HMTL, CSS and JavaScript. Knowing React is an asset, but we believe in self-learning
• Has taken design systems from zero to one and has worked with design systems at scale
• Understands systemic thinking
• Has extensive experience in working with multidisciplinary service development teams
• Has a good understanding of design processes and toolkits across Product Design, Brand and Marketing
• Has a deep understanding of high-efficiency, high-output centralized design and development partnerships with various product teams and units to drive contribution and utilizing design system
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills and uses them to effectively roll out large-scale programs
• Is relentlessly focused on customers’ and users’ needs and experiences
