We have started a new DevOps improvement project and are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work closely with the development teams at u-blox to implement and enhance our development and testing environments. You will be an integral part of u-blox, keeping us as a leading supplier in the industrial and professional GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) market.Your work will include a wide range of tasks including implementation of new software features and tools. You will also contribute to debugging, documentation, and offering support for DevOps tools as part of the development team. For this role, we expect candidates who have an interest in automating engineering tasks to improve the SW quality. To achieve this, you need to have sound problem solving skills and an ability to work with a variety of programming languages. You must also be motivated to learn new techniques quickly and willing to support others.This position is available in Tampere where the CID team is based, however occasional travel to other u-blox sites within Europe may be required.Your Responsibilities

• Implement effective solutions to enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate development tools with build automation
• Participate in infrastructure management
• Support the development team with issues related to DevOps tooling.

• MSc/BSc in Software/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong programming/scripting skills in at least one language
• Understanding of Linux based infrastructures
• Experience in containerized environments with Docker
• Flexible team player with ability and motivation to work as a part of a team

• Embedded development in the GNSS domain
• Cloud services with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Python data handling with Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib
• Testing frameworks like Robot Framework, Pytest, CppUnit or Cantata
• Container orchestration with Docker Compose, Docker Swarm or K8S
