We are looking for a Finance Manager for Telia Towers Finland Oy. We are small team of professionals and now Finance Manager is needed to complement our own competence.

Telia Towers Finland Oy is part of Telia but has a clear focus only on tower business which is long term investment-oriented business with long payback times. As a Finance Manager, you are responsible for Telia Towers Finland Oy financial and business control. This is a wide finance role, and here you have a possibility to be part of company’s all financial processes. You co-operate closely with Telia Company’s financial support services and report to CFO of Telia Towers Finland Oy.

The role includes:

• Month-end closing
  • Accruals and corrections
  • Secure the quality of group reporting (Cognos)
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analysis of actuals and business review reporting
  • Internal controls
  • Filing of statistic reports
• Year-end closing
  • Responsible for ensuring the completion of accounting under TS GAAP (IFRS) and Finnish GAAP
  • Statutory Accounting - preparation of Telia Towers Finland Oy annual report
• Tax Reporting
  • Income tax calculation (quarterly)
  • Tax reporting package (quarterly)
  • Corporate income tax return (annual)
  • VAT reporting (monthly)
• Audit Management
• Budget and Forecast process: annual / monthly / quarterly
  • Coordinating and collecting periodical running forecast
  • Updating business plan
• Maintains reporting to analyze business movements and provide support to develop action plans to improve profitability
• Supports the CFO, with financial analysis, commentary, and guidance on data results
• SAP master data management

Is this you?

We expect you to have knowledge and experience in both financial and business control areas. We are emphasizing financial control, but you need to be at least eager to also learn business control competence.

Your personality:

• You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail as well as ability to see the big picture
• You have a structured and target-oriented way of working
• You are comfortable to work in fast-changing environment and deadline driven cadencies

Your Experience and skills:

• Financial control experience with preparing year-end financial statements
• Experience of IFRS and Finnish GAAP
• SAP and Cognos experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Business control experience is advantage
• Master/Bachelor of Economic Sciences or equivalent
• Fluency in Finnish and English language
