We are looking for an experienced legal professional to join our team in Helsinki.  This role is brand new and it gives You the chance to work with two Playtika-owned Finnish studios: Seriously Digital Entertainment Oy and Reworks Oy. As the local point of legal contact for both studios, we hope you are a legal generalist at your heart and eager to work on a variety of topics in which legal help is needed. We hope you are curious, great at taking initiative, and committed to work in a challenging but rewarding professional environment. By supporting two unique studios with different challenges and responsibilities, flexibility and adaptability is the key.  

What does the ride include?

• Provide a variety of corporate and commercial legal support across all lines of business in two independent studios enabling profitable growth while mitigating legal risks
• Act as the local point of contact in Helsinki for both studios, Seriously and Reworks, on all legal matters, including e.g. intercompany matters, commercial agreements, compliance, governance, data privacy and employment matters
• Work closely with the Playtika headquarters legal department, and advise senior management, and other internal stakeholders at Seriously & Reworks. You will report to a counsel located in Los Angeles, CA.  Please note the ten hour time zone difference.  You can expect to have regularly scheduled calls with your manager that will take place in your early evening. 
• Ensure both studios´ compliance with country specific laws and regulations in Finland
• Assist in implementing Playtika group-wide policies from the legal standpoint
• Assist in legal matters in game and app development (commercial agreements, intellectual property, terms of service, etc.).
• Train internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters

What does it take to sign up?

• Completed Finnish legal studies and qualified lawyer in Finland
• Preferably 5+ years of relevant professional experience as an in-house lawyer at an international hi-tech company and/or experience in a commercial/corporate/Hi-Tech department of a leading law firm
• Experience and knowledge in corporate and commercial law, in addition to knowledge of employment law and privacy and data protection (including GDPR) are also considered highly valued skills to bring to us.
• Excellent English and Finnish (both written and oral), and communication skills. This is one of the very few positions where we require Finnish.
• Demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule.
