The holy trinity of recruiting the best devs: curiosity - patience - getting things done. And repetition.

Hey, you recruiting or talent sourcing expert: ever felt the longing to hop into a growth company as an in-house recruiter and make a real impact on the growth story? Or really get your hands on developing Talent Acquisition practices with talented colleagues? Nodding? Good. Keep reading.

At Qvik, we are chin deep in the consultancy business. We design, develop and consult with our clients to create digital solutions with real, measurable value. But above all, we are in the people business. Our people, the Qvikies, have always played the lead role in our 13-year story.

The digital solutions Qvik creates affect the lives of millions of people every day. More impact brings us more meaningful projects and, obviously, the need for more Qvikies. And this is where we need you: to attract new star players for us and build recruitment practices that scale better with our warm and witty Talent Acquisition team.

About your daily work

You already know that, in Talent Acquisition, no two days are the same - and that's what makes the job interesting. We are a startup-like company with a flat hierarchy, which means that we have some established practices and processes, but are always disrupting the way we roll.

For the next few years in Talent Acquisition, this means that we are building new strategies and ways to attract, find and nurture new talent for Qvik. You'll be in an essential role in making this all happen and bringing fresh new ideas to the table.

Your daily job also includes attracting, prospecting, contacting, interviewing, and driving the recruitment process all the way to shaking hands (virtually) with the newcomers. You'll look for new ways and channels to get a hold on potential candidates and build our pipelines and visibility in the relevant networks.

More importantly, you will develop data-driven recruitment practices and nurturing processes by bringing insight and expertise into our team. There's a lot on your plate, but don't worry: you will work towards these goals together with your small yet mighty team.

Is it you we are looking for?

To succeed in your role, you've already worked with tech recruitment and know the formula of getting candidates to talk with you. Ideally, you have experience of running recruitments, from defining needs to signing contracts. You are already familiar with boolean and/or sourcing tools and know how to build up talent pipelines.

We put a lot of emphasis on the candidate experience in our recruitment, and we hope that you have a track record of delivering the best possible experience for talent. Knowledge of the international tech talent markets and the relocation process is an especially big plus.

The beauty of Qvik is that you can grow in your role and take it almost wherever you want to. We value individual freedom and inclusiveness, which means that you can shape and plan your own work day flexibly. It also requires self-management skills as well as taking responsibility for your work and achieving your targets.

Our Talent Acquisition team cherishes the principle of quality over quantity. This means that attracting talent means more than just polishing our shield for potential new Qvikies, but rather hearing their career wishes and helping with them. We want to build networks and our external community, not just accumulate names to the signing list for meeting our recruitment targets. We hope that you share this ideology with us, too.

This we promise:

We want to care more. We are concentrating on creating an even more inspiring and safe culture, learning by doing, deepening our professionalism and building an even stronger community. Take a look at our career site: https://qvik.com/careers/.

But perks and promises don’t pay the bills. In this role, your monthly earnings will be around 3,900 to 4,700 euro, depending on your skills and experience.

Our basic benefits package is also pretty nice: lunch, commuter, culture and sports benefits, and a bike benefit. We also offer occupational health care with extra health insurance, travel and accident insurance, a remote office from January to March (Thailand in 2018, Mauritius in 2019 and Sri Lanka/Tenerife in 2020) and many company-supported sports and hobby opportunities with other Qvikies.

In addition, we offer our low-hierarchy culture, experienced and helpful colleagues, flexible working hours, support, and time for developing your skills, e.g. a chance to allocate 10% of your working time to training. We also have a rather nice office in the heart of Kamppi with some nice perks, but working from home is totally OK for us as well.

Supporting the Qvikies’ health and work-life balance is essential for us. We offer a sick-child care service for smoother sailing over the flu season, as well as personal support for life challenges via the Auntie service. And don’t forget the community glue, aka parties - we are pretty good at setting up some jams, too :)

Let's go!
