We now have a great opportunity for a Platform Engineer to our AWS team in Stockholm. I am Lisa Lind and I am leading a team of platform experts within Data and Analytics in Telia Company. My team is responsible for building the new hybrid cloud foundation and capabilities for Telia Company’s Analytics, BI and Machine Learning domain.

Is this your next opportunity?

You will have a key role in our AWS team, helping us build, improve, and expand the platform capabilities to enable realization of current and future business demands.  We need to increase automation for ELT, improve CI/CD, generate guidelines and support in some of the data architecture and modelling related questions.  Your role would be to, in collaboration with your team members and other teams, focus on us successfully delivering that. 

Eventually we will also increase the platform capabilities to support ELT pattern with server less data lake and enable more consumption patterns such as Ad hoc data science, ML Services etc. Your team colleagues are Cloud Data Engineers, Cloud DevOps Engineers, Infrastructure & Security architect, AWS, and Redshift designers etc.

Your experience:

• Coding in Python (3+ years)
• Strong knowledge in software architecture and design
• Huge bonus with experience from AWS engineering and Redshift              
• Data warehouse expertise is a big bonus
• CI/CD development is a big bonus
