Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
We’re now looking for business professionals to grow our FP&A team, to strengthen our overall capability and capacity to monitor and analyze our performance, and develop and share business insights with our teams. You can call this the team that has the clearest and most widespread understanding of our overall business performance at any given time, who continuously manages and drives insights from the grassroots to inspire change where it matters the most.
Our FP&A team owns the Supercell Group forecasts including portfolio companies, group budgets & plans, management reporting, financial scenario planning and other high-level analysis for Supercell’s leadership. We constantly develop insights linking our game performance data with our financial metrics in order to provide meaningful insights across our games.
In this role you will interact with relevant stakeholders from all other teams in scope, in order to build our group forecasts and provide transparency and business insights to those teams. While you will be having a broad set of responsibilities, you need to be comfortable in prioritizing the right activities to focus on, and not be afraid to get your hands dirty by proactively driving initiatives that just need to be done.
Responsibilities
Own Supercell group forecast model
Own Supercell group monthly forecasting and management reporting
Own Supercell group budgeting & planning process consolidation
Own team level cost reporting and business controls for selected units
Partner with key stakeholders in different teams across Supercell (leadership, game teams, finance & legal, support teams, and subsidiaries)
Provide business support and miscellaneous business analyses and insights as needed
Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience from finance and/or strategy roles
Master in analytical problem-solving and financial modeling
Proven track record of project management
Exceptional business acumen & strategic mindset
Ability to operate highly independently in an ambiguous environment
Great attention to detail
Proactive doer with intellectual curiosity; constantly wanting to learn & understand more in order to answer questions that haven’t been asked
Humble and hungry with a growth/improvement mindset
Strong communication (incl. building high impact presentations) and influencing skills
Passion for games
SQL experience preferred, willingness to learn required
