The location for the position is in Vaasa, Finland.

What will you be doing?

In this position, one of your main responsibilities will be to develop and administer customer interface role and procedures as our quality management representant during test run.  Including but not restricted to;
•    Communication with customer during Non-conformity investigation and problem solving (RCA, correction and corrective actions)
•    Administration, development and presentation of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) ja Quality Control Plan (QCP), measurement records and protocols etc.
•    Prepare customer statements and/or other post-FAT/PCT communication when requested
•    Assist in arranging product/process information for customers when requested
•    Securing overall customer experience and feed-back gathering process

You will also be involved in maintaining and applying quality procedures and instructions, especially focusing on production quality improvement, to meet internal quality requirements as well as the quality expectations of our customers and other stakeholders.

In this role you will also contribute in establishing product and quality improvement mindset by e.g.;
•    Following up nonconformities, ensuing coordination of containment and corrective actions and risk assessments 
•    Analysing non-conformities during test run, reporting and supporting to achieve corrective actions by problem solving
•    Securing adequate documentation of findings and actions during investigations in quality related issues
•    Participating in, or facilitating product development projects

Additionally, you will;
•    Have opportunity to participate in internal, external and customer audits
•    Provide support for product development and other stakeholders regarding product performance during testing

You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from the whole CC&R team.

The below will enable you to shine in this role:
•    B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or equivalently qualified through relevant technical experience
•    Technical writing skills
•    Previous experience and use of tools and methods used in Wärtsilä (SAP, PQAP, FMEA, etc) would be a great benefit
•    Experience and use of general quality tools are an advantage 
•    Self-motivated and reliable to take responsibility of your actions within the set timeframes
•    Pro-active and independent individual with a team player attitude 
•    Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage with, and present to, a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally
•    Demonstrable problem-solving and decision-making skills
•    Willingness to learn, adapt and develop yourself
•    Fluent in English, both written and verbal
 

In this role, some travel might be required to meet with our customers and visit installations around the world. Thus, we hope you are outgoing, customer oriented, proactive, systematic and organized.
