We’re looking for a Data Scientist for creating and developing machine learning (ML) and analytics solutions to renew industry standard accounting practices, and to help our customer companies succeed in their business. At Accountor Finago you are able to work with a long history of Financial and HR data of more than 50.000 customer companies. We have countless ways for utilising data and AI for the benefit of our customers. We keep experimenting and validating to focus the ML development efforts on the most valuable solutions.

This is an exciting new opportunity to join our in-house Product Development team creating digital financial management products for the Nordics.

What you will be doing

As part of our Product Development organisation, you will work in our new Machine Learning team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Developer, Test Automation Engineer and Technical PO. Your team takes the ownership of the models and data pipelines that are part of our product offering, and works together with other development teams and designers in ML related product development projects. 

You will
  • Create and develop new machine learning and analytics based solutions.
  • Take ownership of and deliver end-to-end AI solutions, from understanding the user needs and data experimentation to fine tuning of the production models and working with data pipelines.
  • Maintain and further enhance ML models in production to ensure customer value delivery
  • Take part in data pipeline development and enhancement, working together with Data Engineers and DevOps
  • Work as part of a project team and with other stakeholders
  • Work together with UX and Product Designers for experimenting and validating the valuable use cases for ML development, and developing solutions with customer centric methods.

  • Excellent working knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and various machine learning approaches
  • Advanced Python user
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience of data pipelines in cloud environment, preferably MS Azure
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent quantitative methods
  • Open and fluent in communication and teamwork
  • Self-driven in continuous learning and keeping yourself up-to-date
  • Fluent communication skills in English
