We are now looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our UPM Biofuels SBU team in Helsinki on a temporary basis during 1.1.2022 – 31.8.2023.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a flexible person, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while handling daily logistics operations efficiently in our Supply Chain Operations team. In this position, you will:

• Perform daily logistics operations (mainly land logistics)
• Co-operate with UPM Supply Management team, trucking company schedulers and terminal personnel
• Coordinate inbound logistics to Biorefinery in Lappeenranta and monitor stock levels at intermediate storages

Who you are

We value experience in:

• Logistics operations
• Overall understanding of oil and/or biofuels industry
• Accountability and ability to deliver in a hectic operative environment

Additionally, you have:

• Experience or studies in Supply Chain/Trading operations/Scheduling Logistics
• Good user skills of IT-systems
• Excellent oral and written skills in Finnish and English
• Personality of energetic team-player with good communication skills
• Accurate and precise approach to daily tasks
