Computer Vision Tooling Engineer

We are looking for hands-on, seasoned developer to join our team that is supporting various Tracking teams at Varjo. Currently we are also expanding our services to cover new and exciting Teleport related use cases. We work in collaboration with our CI and MLOps teams, forming a backbone. Our team is responsible of keeping Key Point Indicator tests in a great shape so that Tracking and visual quality can be easily and consistently monitored by other developers. In your role you will take part into all this diverse work.
This is a full-time position located in Helsinki but you are free to work remotely from anywhere in Finland. This can be a few days a week or 100% remote. We support you in being productive in the way that is best suited for you. If you're based somewhere else at the moment, we will also gladly help with relocating to Finland and make your move to the capital of the world's happiest and cleanest country as easy as possible.
Responsibilities
- Tooling development, that is required for recording and replaying sensor data from our headsets or from our simulators.
- Developing visual test applications for other teams.
- Any diverse support tasks that are required to keep other teams happy.
Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of experience in software development
- Strong experience with C++
- Experience with Python
- Experience with computer vision libraries like OpenCV
- Experience with 3D APIs like OpenGL
- Familiarity of agile working methods
- Good English communication skills
