Wärtsilä Energy Business is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our Supply Chain Team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will secure timely delivery of the power plant equipment.  

Location:

Location for this permanent position is in Vaasa, Finland.

Responsibilities:

• Close cooperation with different stake holders; project teams, suppliers, freight forwarders etc.
• Expediting of goods in order to have them in the right place at the right time and at the right cost
• Training & coaching of suppliers on logistical matters
• Reporting of delivered goods and checking of invoices
• Booking of transports from vendors to collection points
• Arranging project air freights 
• Other tasks related to logistics

Requirements:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Experience in Logistics is an advantage
• M.Sc or B.Sc in technical or commercial area
• Good command of English and Finnish, other languages are seen as an advantage
