We are searching a Medical Adviser to join our Medical Assessment team. The position is temporary and is currently for about one year.

Description of position

You will be a member of cross-functional teams and perform benefit-risk evaluation for marketed products and assess individual adverse event reports and write periodic safety reports, risk management plans and other safety related documentation for regulatory submission purposes. You will also follow and assess safety data during clinical development, creating an understanding of the safety profile of the new molecule under development. Your tasks include writing of different kinds of safety reports.

The location of this position is either Espoo or Turku, Finland.

Description of unit

Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety unit is responsible for the global pharmacovigilance system of Orion Corporation and for the continuous safety surveillance, regulatory reporting and safety risk management activities of human and veterinary medicinal and non-medicinal products.

Medical Assessment team consists of physicians that provide medical input and assess safety of molecules under development and products on the market.

Requirements

Medical Doctor’s degree is required for the position. We wish that you also have good team working skills and the ability to operate cross-functionally as well as independently. As a person you are driven, optimistic and have a customer-focused approach.
