Piikkio Works Oy is a company 100 % owned by Meyer Turku Oy. Focusing in the manufacture of modular cabins and bathroom units, we supply cabin and bathroom modules for cruise ships built at the Meyer Turku shipyard. Our head office is located in Piikkiö, Kaarina, Finland, where we employ approximately 140 employees.

We are now looking for a test engineer for the implementation and development of various projects in our testing department.

What are your job responsibilities?

Your job includes performing a variety of tests, analyzing them, and reporting the test results according to test plans. In addition, you are responsible for verifying the conformity of the solutions, structures, and materials used in cabin design projects.

We hope that you will be willing to participate in the development of our testing methods and the laboratory so that we can serve our customers even better as requirements change. Our goal is to always remain reliable and dependable, regardless of the surrounding world and its changes.

You and your team are also responsible for the maintenance and service of the test and measurement equipment.

What do we expect from you?

We hope you have strong technical knowledge and previous experience in testing and related methods and practices. We also expect you to have a suitable technical university degree.

In your day-to-day work, you will use our IT systems, so you should also have these skills up-to-date. We consider the knowledge of different programming languages to be an advantage.

Our main working languages are Finnish and English, so we require good spoken and written knowledge of these.
