To support this, we need systems that work seamlessly with each other, are easy and intuitive to use, and support our business goals. As an Application Development Lead, you will have a pivotal role in helping us reach this goal.

In this role, you will lead the development of Blueprint Genetics SaaS services, focusing mainly on the Salesforce.com platform and related integrations to meet the business needs. You will collaborate with several teams and experts across the global organization, from Salesforce professionals to Software Development, IT Operations, Finance, Sales and Operations Group to understand business processes, requirements, as well as business and compliance rules. Your work will include planning for long-term development initiatives as well as driving quick wins. You will own the whole process from requirement gathering to following up on the execution and cascading the deliverables to the organization. You will collaborate and get technical support from our external partners and the enterprise IT organization of our parent company, Quest Diagnostics, based in the USA.

This is a full-time, permanent position. We hope you can join our office in Keilaniemi, Espoo, but you have the flexibility to work remotely as well.

Your tasks will include

  • Leading the end-to-end development of Blueprint Genetics Salesforce.com platform and related integrations
  • Identifying different stakeholder needs for the content, functionality, and overall process improvements
  • Working together with Quest Diagnostics Application Development team to unify systems and ways of working
  • Working together with software developers, IT operations and external partners in developing and integrating Blueprint Genetics SaaS services
  • Working together with the Finance/ERP team in building and maintaining integrations and reporting functionalities
  • Driving and overseeing the development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce.com components and related integrations to meet business requirements
  • Creating and maintaining project/technical documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulations
  • Ensuring the best possible quality of the application

Our ideal candidate has:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an architect, project manager, or product owner in application/Salesforce environment
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce.com capabilities and best practices
  • Basic understanding of integration platforms (iPaaS)
  • Experience in Sales and Service Cloud as well as iPaaS development is an asset
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Experience with managing cross-functional projects successfully
  • Experience in privacy and healthcare regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) is an asset
