Elisa Polystar is a part of Elisa's international business domain. We started our journey as an internal startup, and now we are becoming an ever-growing global success story. We managed to automate our own network so well that we now offer our automation solution to operators worldwide, to support them with automation in planning, operations and optimization of radio networks. Automating fairly complex things, to be frank. Automation Engine is our solution for realizing automated optimization and configuration changes in the radio access networks (RAN).

We are looking for a Radio Network Specialist to join our Automation Engine product team.

The team will be developing our Automation Engine product software using the latest DevOps practices and modern tools. In this project there's very little between you and the customers. If you have professional level understanding & insight on how radio access networks operate, and you are familiar with radio access network engineering process, you might be the one we are looking for. In addition you need to be able to turn your telecom expertise into professional level software code.

In order for you to succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

• Radio access networks expertise (5G, 4G, ...)
• Very good knowledge of Python, or proven ability to acquire that fast

We also appreciate if you have (if you don't already have, you need to be ready to learn it):

• Hands-on experience on mobile network automation use cases and related algorithm development
• RAN vendor specific (Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE) expertise and knowledge
• Experience on working with customers
• Experience on operating networks

• Understanding and expertise on networking protocols, and core and transport networks
• Experience of professional software development processes is very beneficial and appreciated
