Hi, my name is Aleksej Dutkevič, I’m leading the Shared Engagement Services unit at Company Sweden. We are ramping up with new critical areas and I am looking for a Front-End Developer to join our Engineering stream in Lithuania.

Your next challenge?

You will be developing the Global Design System for Telia with team members from Nordic countries. The team is just entering the implementation phase with lots of interesting challenges and opportunities on our way. We expect the use of our Design system to grow and become an essential tool for every engineering team at Telia Company. It's a great time to join the Core team and build a strong foundation to go forward.

As a Front-End Developer you will:

• Work in an international team of highly motivated professionals

• Design, code, document, and test customer-oriented web pages and components

• Review code and mentor more junior colleagues, to help them acquire more technical knowledge

• Solve complicated business cases with assistance from experienced architects

Be able to get your hands on the latest technologies and work with our tech stack which is:

• Passion and relevant experience in modern technologies i.e., JavaScript, TypeScript

• Relevant experience with Web Components

• Relevant experience with JavaScript bundlers i.e., Webpack, Rollup, TypeScript compiler, and bundle outputs like ES modules, commonjs, etc.

• Relevant experience working with component libraries i.e., Design Systems

• Understanding of Design approach, customer experience, and accessibility standards

• Good practices with testing and test automation

• Good understanding of Functional Programming, Object-oriented programming

• Experience in agile development methods and practices, i.e., Scrum, SAF

Your Experience:

• Experience building and maintaining large-scale projects (Experience or understanding of Monorepos)

• Experience doing CI/CD

• Skills implementing Web Component features with JS frameworks (Vue preferably, Angular, React) (Experience or at least good understanding of Stencil JS)

• Skills in writing styles with pre-processors and methodologies (SCSS and BEM preferably, but not necessary)

• Good understanding of UX and accessibility

• Passion for new technologies

Working in this position you will receive a base salary from 3 636 to 5 455 Eur (gross) EUR Monthly. Plus annual bonuses which vary, depending on your competencies and your and Telia's results. Besides each employee, Telia has an additional employee benefits package which includes:
