Elisa’s Software Services unit has a headcount of around 200 currently and a substantial partner network to collaborate with. Software Services develops and newly creates different services, many of which are household names, for the benefit of Elisa’s customers both in Finland and abroad. Both seasoned tech experts and juniors work in different roles in the unit. Software Services enables Elisa’s success and lets the autonomous teams to shine. All operations are based on Elisa values and customer focus.

We are now looking for a Developer Advocate with an eager to build and develop our software community.

Your main tasks:

• Create and take care of developer community
• Driving our developer communications internally and externally
• Represent and lead Elisa in software related eventstogether with our developers and community
• Be very hands on and working with our developers
• Co-ordinate actions with design community
• Work closely with internal communication, marketing and HR to ensure accurate brand representation
• Create engaging and shareable content to share via blog, social media channels etc.
• Identify and produce relevant trainings and learning opportunities for developers
• Provide community feedback to management team and stakeholders
• Plan and execute community initiatives and programs
• Find new marketing and outreach opportunities to push our developer brand image and expertise both internally and externally
• Support and contribute to our tech recruitment activities

We hope you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience working in software environment or team
• Background in software development and interest to keep up-to-date with the tech scene
• Great communication skills in English and an ability to talk technology, design or business with ease when needed
• Existing broad networks or strong relations in tech scene
• Understanding of software service development
• Interest in talent attraction and employee experience work
• Experience of event planning and creating content (blog and social media channels etc.)
• Understanding of Finnish language is a plus
