Data Specialist

We have been building analytics capabilities and dashboards over the last couple of years, and now is the time to take the next leap and move from building dashboards and datapoints to ensuring also that data serves and is utilized in businesses.

Therefore, we are looking for a Data Specialist to join our Data and Analytics team under Business Operations function in FMS business. The team is new as well as is the role of Data Specialist. In the beginning, the team consists of a team lead, one data analyst and one data specialist role.

What will you be doing

Data Specialist works as a business partner to different business stakeholders and understands both technology and the business. Further, Data Specialist works as an expert for data management, dataflows and technologies to deliver data for businesses both to dashboards as well as part of operative processes. In practice this means owning, developing and maintaining cross platform technical data management capabilities, data pipelines and data models to help businesses to lead their actions based on data and facts.

The role is new, so you can influence on the main areas that you will be focusing on. Note that you don’t need to be a technical data super star. The most important thing is that you are willing to learn!

With these strengths you are one step ahead
 

• Experience in co-operation with stakeholders like sales, marketing and customer service leads to gather business requirements and transform them into technical/analytical solutions
• Experience in SQL
• Experience of Power BI reports and data models or similar data visualization tools
• Experience in Data Integrations and Data Modelling
• Experience with some Azure Data Platform technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL DB
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken. Finnish language skills are appreciated but not mandatory
