We are now looking for an innovative Chief Information Officer based in Helsinki.

Your daily work:

• Lead strategic and tactical IT / IM planning to achieve company goals
• Lead and coach a team of approximately 20 IT professionals
• Prioritize IT initiatives to achieve optimal and timely business results
• Develop an information management architecture aligned with the business objectives
• Coordinate the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT / IM systems
• With the team, manage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of core IT / IM systems within Nordcloud
• Negotiate commercial and other contractual terms with suppliers for new services and service renewals
• Align with IBM guidelines and practices while ensuring optimal business results

Your skills and attributes of success:

• MSc in information technology and/or equivalent years of education and experience working in a related field
• Ambition and capability to constantly develop new skills and challenge old ways of working
• Understand the business outcomes expected from IT systems and be able to articulate those to business and tech stakeholders.
• Passion for technology, tech trends, and adoption of tech to solve real-life problems
• Systems thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities
• Fluent written and spoken communications and presentation skills
• Ability to motivate and support the team to perform and grow
• High integrity, structured and can-do attitude
