Wärtsilä Information Management (IM) supports businesses in digitizing core operations and enabling new digital business opportunities via technology and information. We are strengthening our CIO Office Team by recruiting IT Quality Manager. To qualify for the job, you need to be ambitious and have proven track record in successfully in leading quality and continuous improvement of IT organisation. You’re energetic, love changes and a fun person to work with.


Possible location for this position is Helsinki or Vaasa, Finland.
 

RESPONSIBLITIES:
 

  • Lead all IM quality and continuous improvement activities and act as lean couch in IM 
  • Lead and further develop all IM risk and compliance related activities e.g. internal/external audits and ITGC risks
  • Manage and develop IM KPI reporting jointly with IM management team to steer IM strategy execution
  • Define and deploy IM operational performance metrics to measure performance of IM organisation   
  • Develop and deploy service level management capabilities jointly with IM service teams and partners 
  • Communicate status and results of own responsibility area to improve transparency towards stakeholders


 QUALIFICATIONS:
 

  • M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration, Information Technology or similar
  • Experience in running IT quality related activities in a global, multi-vendor business environment with proven track record of improved performance of IT organisation to increase stakeholder satisfaction
  • Professional knowledge of IT operating model, IT Service Management processes, quality framework and key metrics (e.g. ITIL, ISO20000, ISO27001 COBIT, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent skills in process automation, data-processing, analytics and with ability to combine and visualise data 
  • Experience in using reporting and IT service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, PowerBI, Qlikview etc.) seen as an asset
  • Excellent management and leadership skills with capability to drive change
  • Team player with proactive and goal-focused attitude to work
  • Ability to influence and communicating fluently in English (written and spoken)
