Team Leader Operational Purchasing

We are now looking for team leader to join our expert team of new build purchasers. This position is permanent. The preferred location for the position Finland.
    
In this position, your main responsibilities will include to:

• Secure the availability of material and Customer Satisfaction by following up customer demand with Sales organization, taking the cross-divisional aspect into account
• Execute purchase orders, order monitoring, confirmations and rescheduling.
• Monitor and report supplier performance for your team
• Secure material data to relevant systems in defined area of responsibility 
• Actively develop the way of working in cooperation with process development 
• Actively develop teamwork in own team and build commitment 
• Coordinate delivery of goods and logistics information with internal and/or external stakeholders 
• Secure expediting of goods delivery to have them in the right place at the right time at the right cost 
• Secure maintenance of logistics data to relevant systems in defined area of responsibility
• Coach the team, relevant suppliers and/or internal stakeholders 
• Secure continuous improvement and compliance of procurement activities
• Cooperate with relevant internal and/or external stakeholders

As an ideal candidate you would have:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or similar
• Experience in purchasing
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• SAP knowledge is seen as an advantage
• Excellent, proven team leading skills in a self-propelling environment
• MS Office tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
• Good command in English
• Active approach to work
• Good negotiation skills
• Target and result oriented attitude
• Service mind set, openness and flexibility, as well as the ability to make things happen
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication and presentation skills
