We are looking for an Agile Coach to join our ranks!

In Accountor Finago, the Agile Coach's main purpose is to act as a dedicated full-time Scrum Master for two Scrum teams in Procountor Product Development. The Agile Coach teaches, coaches and mentors their Scrum teams in agile ways of working. They support other teams and stakeholders in applying the knowledge of Agile theory and the agile mindset into their work. Does this sound like the next career move for you? If so, keep reading!

The practical responsibilities of an Agile Coach are to

  • Act as a Scrum Master for two teams - teach, coach and mentor their teams and team members about Scrum and relevant techniques
  • Assist with these two teams’ planning, kickoffs and other project milestones by proposing and facilitating workshops
  • Identify process issues and difficulties with their teams and assist in improving them
  • Co-operate with other Agile Coaches to identify improvement opportunities across teams and the organisation, spot issues and work on resolving them
  • Co-operate with other Agile coaches to develop standards for agile processes within teams

In addition, if they wish, Agile Coaches could also take part in the organization and facilitation of a monthly company Agile Forum. Additionally they can help in introducing the established Agile processes to management and colleagues from the rest of the company (for example other departments than Product development)

To be able to fulfil this role, you need to have

  • Experience with Scrum as part of a software development team (as a Scrum master or in another role)
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of agile and Scrum
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Patience, empathy and humility
  • An open-minded attitude, readiness to embrace change and the ability to self-organize
  • Excellent spoken and written English, as we are an international company with English as our official language

  • Theoretical and practical understanding of Kanban and other agile frameworks
  • Possess an Agile Certification – from Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, Kanban University, etc.
