We are now looking for a Business Controller to join and support Performance Services (Marine long term service agreements) and Agreement Delivery team. You will be accountable for following and commenting on the profitability of the business unit and agreement delivery function. Consolidation of financials, including forecasts, for the Business Unit. Development of reporting, processes is part of the job.
Agreement Delivery is responsible for mobilization of the contract content, the maintenance management, coordination and operations management for all the vessels under contract in Marine. The team consists of 150 enthusiastic experts serving the agreement from more than 10 different countries.
 
Are you the business controller who is able to set up a solid global cost structure for the services we deliver to the contracts? Our global invoicing system needs to be maintained and expanded where and when needed. Monthly cost follow-up and reporting of the cost centres are needed in combination with an overview of how the hours are spent to get more insight into our services, our customers, the type of agreements and the performance of our products. You will cooperate with product management to price the services of agreement delivery.
 
Agreement Delivery is also responsible for maintaining and developing the software tools for agreement management and delivery in Marine and Energy. Yearly maintenance and development budgets need to be determined, followed up, and billed to different internal parties.

The preferred location for the position is one of our locations in Finland or in Drunen, The Netherlands.


As Business Controller, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
 
Your responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure reliable and high-quality financial information necessary to steer and develop the profitability and growth of Agreement Delivery and Performance services
  • Coordinate and ensure accurate and reliable short and long-term planning
  • Prepare monthly reports with a gap analysis for management.
  • Develop and manage cost to serve for agreement delivery activities as well as execute cost allocations to contracts.

The desired candidate would have:

  • MSc or BSc in Economics, Finance, Business Administration and/or computer sciences
  • Knowledge of business control procedures, reporting, and tools/systems
  • Structured way of working and analytical mindset
  • Experience in building models in Excel and analytics in Power BI
  • Genuine interest in transformation and continuous improvement
  • Great communicator and team player
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow along the business requirements
  • Ability to work under time pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Fluent English is mandatory
