System Specialist - Lending

Who are we
Aktia IT operates mainly in the Helsinki city center and provides flexible remote working opportunities. However we are not constrained to any particular place and provide possibility for remote working very flexibly.
Your position would be within Aktia’s IT in the Lending team. We handle lending, asset financing and factoring applications for various business operations within the bank. Our working culture is relaxed and informal. We work independently but help each other whenever needed. We are service and solution oriented. We like team players who are willing to get their hands into tech and keep a finger on the pulse. We work agile and try to learn and improve our performance continuously.
Job description and responsibilities
As a system specialist in Aktia's IT you are responsible for developing and maintaining platforms and applications specifically for the lending domain. You will work closely together with various teams, both technical and business, to ensure smooth operation of our lending operations. You will also get to participate in our lending business development from technical point of view.
In this position you would be administering the production environment as well as test environments. You would be part of integration planning related to lending platform applications. You might also be able to create and develop services of your own, may that be with your programming skills or perhaps in a low code environment. Interest in testing and creating test automation could also be one of the keys to success in this role. You would be working closely with third party application vendors.
As digitalization is one of Aktia’s main strategies you get exclusive view on digitalization and automatization of lending business and processes.
What is expected
We expect from you
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Scripting capability with Powershell
• Knowledge of Windows server platform
• Eagerness to learn
• Experience in integration planning and understanding REST/SOAP integrations
• Capability of administrating application production environment
• Systematic and analytic approach to work
• Experience and ability in working with business domain counterparts
• Experience in working with third party application vendors
• At least some programming skills (preferably C#/.NET)
• Experience in managing software systems in production
We also appreciate greatly if you know
• Experience from banking business domain / lending business domain
• CI/CD pipelines
• Version control
• Experience in agile work practices
• Robot Framework knowledge
