We are looking for a Network Test Engineer to join the E2E network validation team, part of Telia’s Network System and Delivery (NSD) organization. The team supports to secure well working of our networks from an end-to-end perspective relative to new services and technology upgrades imperative to support our future bets, for instance 5G and the evolving use-cases the new technology brings like Industry 4.0, Enterprise Mobile Networks, Private Core networks, Network slicing, Security to name a few.

We are looking for a Network Expert with proven track record of developing working methods for testing, leverage tools and test automation to secure quality of releases optimally. As a member of the E2E testing team, you will work closely with country business unit counterparts, our network team, collaborating and managing testing needs for solutions and domain initiatives.

Your responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Driving the approach to testing and hands-on test validations implemented on the live network and lab set-ups
• Working in close collaboration with internal teams, vendor teams, core network teams and business units
• Being accountable for test execution, test automation, performance tests, security tests and test management needs towards requirements.
• Participating in troubleshooting activities in agile way for quick turnaround
• Contributing to creating improved ways of testing, bring in lab management best practices, both for existing and emerging technologies such as 5G-SA

Your Experience:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in the field of Telecommunication
• Knowledge of relevant 3GPP and GSMA specifications i.e.IR92, IR94, and IR51

• Hands-on experience testing in Mobile Network domain areas Eg: vEPC, 5G SA, LTE, Core, voice data service.
• Working in multi-vendor environment to support network trace analysis and troubleshooting
• Orchestrated working on e2e network test execution in collaboration with QA leads, external test managers in different domains/groups.
• Hands-on experience in building test automation using Robot framework.
• Exposure to Security testing and tools for network vulnerability evaluation preferrable
• Telco Cloud knowledge is an advantage. Familiar with VMware and/or OpenStack cloud implementations

• Agile/SAFe ways of working is good to have.
