I am Camilla Bülow and I am leading the team with Commercial Product Managers for horizontal services at Division X. Division X’s job is to build new businesses and markets to keep Telia moving forward. To do this, we combine Telia’s core capabilities with the agility and attitude of a start-up. We identify real customer value and apply the latest technologies to deliver it. We then nurture it into a robust business that can stand on its own two feet.

The CPM unit is responsible for the portfolio, strategy, and management of our emerging business B2B portfolio involving IoT and Data Insights. We bring our products to all Telia markets in the Nordics. Currently we are looking for a Commercial Product Manager for products towards the Building sector.

You are a product manager with a track record of launching and managing successful products by combining entrepreneurial product leadership with strong commercial knowledge in IoT and/or customized solutions within IoT.

The role can be placed in either Solna, Oslo or Helsinki.

Key responsibilities

  • Compile and evaluate research on customer needs, market requirements, competitive analysis and identify enhancements to current offering. 
  • Interacting and having a dialogue with customers to get more input on how to improve our services and offerings.
  • Develop and execute on strategy for your products in collaboration with portfolio management. 
  • Setting product targets and following up monthly and quarterly.
  • Establish and optimize offering packages, pricing plans in your product category's life cycle.
  • Interact with technical product managers, engineering managers, CX manager, process managers and suppliers to develop product offerings.  
  • Prepare and coordinate product introductions and updates across sales channels.
  • Secure the readiness of the product in sales, marketing, support channels, operations and delivery teams. 
  • Partnership management

Is this you?

You have an interest in products, customers, and technology. To fit the job, you have worked as an Offering/ Product/Business Manager with B2B products preferable within IoT. You have a deep understanding of how to build a profitable offering, analyze and direct a product line commercially and from a go-to-market perspective.

Your Experience:

  • Business and/or Technical Degree
  • Good market and industry knowledge
  • Experience defining product strategies and strong business acumen regarding profitable growth
  • Experience from managing products, preferable in growth/emerging markets.
  • Understand customer needs and be able to convert that into competitive offerings
  • Proven track record developing and bringing services to market with full development and operations lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in one or more of IoT and platform products
  • Understanding of finance and ability to create, analyse and control a P&L
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Be able to work efficient in virtual cross functional teams
