Wärtsilä Finland Oy, Energy Business - Construction and commissioning services is looking for an Engine automation commissioning engineer. This is a travelling engineer position for new build power plant commissioning works. Home office location is Turku or Vaasa, Finland. Please note that relocation costs and/or immigration support is not available for this position.

Responsibilities
 

  • Perform engine automation commissioning, testing and troubleshooting on Wärtsilä products related to engine automation 
  • Check and adjust relevant systems (i.e. engine & plant auxiliaries’ systems)
  • Provide internal and external work reports according to Wärtsilä standards.
  • Perform site audits
  • Extensive travel worldwide
     

Requirements

  • BSc degree of engine automation / or similar
  • Knowledge of combustion engine process, tuning and adjusting needs to be in high level
  • Understand of mechanical and fluid process. In addition, knowledge of Wärtsilä engine typed, including auxiliaries is seen as advantage.
  • Knowledge of engine automation software, Wärtsilä specific UNIC system knowledge is seen as an advantage
