The Underground Drilling Division within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is an industry-leading global provider of drilling equipment for the underground mining industry. It focuses on technology development and future innovative solutions to enable sustainable operations for our customers. The Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy’s Tampere Site is a global technology and manufacturing center for underground drilling equipment.

We are now looking for an Operational Excellence Engineer to join our Underground Drilling Division Supply Operational Excellence team. This is a permanent position based in Tampere, Finland.

Your role

As an Operational Excellence Engineer you analyze, create, and implement manufacturing and business process improvements to meet current and future business targets. Other tasks in this role include developing performance measures and other reports, performing lean assessments and promoting organizational learning. The purpose of the Operational Excellence team is to improve the performance of Tampere Underground Drilling Supply operations by maintaining and further developing the continuous improvement framework, creating better conditions for successful decision-making, and developing corporate culture. In this role, you can make a real difference.

Power BI competence and Lean knowledge are considered an advantage. This position requires fluent spoken and written English.
