We are looking for a new colleague to join our corporate strategy and market intelligence team as a Strategy Development Manager.

As a Strategy Development Manager, you will be part of an exciting journey, as we continue to upgrade our function and offering to new heights, to greater serve our stakeholders. Reporting to VP Corporate Strategy, you will be part of a small, dynamic, and high-performing team, supporting the function as a dynamic all-rounder in various corporate strategy activities.

You will work on a wide breadth of fantastic strategic topics, top of mind to Elisa's top management and Board of Directors. Your main responsibilities will include:

Market Intelligence

• Together with our internal market intelligence community, you will act as Elisa’s strategic lighthouse - leading and coordinating research and workshops, drawing insights into market and customer trends, including macroeconomic, geopolitical and technological developments that could lead to opportunities and disruptions in our relevant markets
• Coordinate and manage the market intelligence resources we provide to the company

Strategy Process & Strategy Development

• Support the overall development of Elisa’s long-term group strategy
• Further improve, project manage and coordinate Elisa’s annual strategy process, including facilitating workshops and supporting Elisa’s Executive Leadership and their leadership teams in strategy development

Special Projects

• Support Elisa's CEO, Executive Team, Board of Directors, and our internal business partners in conducting and leading high-priority projects and studies

Other potential opportunities to further develop our Strategy Function

• Business portfolio & financial analysis
• In-house consulting – Rolling up your sleeves to support our business areas as an in-house consultant & strategic business partner

What do we expect from you?

To succeed and thrive in this role, we expect that you have:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, or similar, gained through working within management consulting, corporate strategy, or Telco/ICT industry. Strong knowledge of the Telco/ICT industry will be highly advantageous
• Strategic mindset with a structured approach to navigate and simplify complex/ambiguous problems
• Excellent skills in conducting qualitative & quantitative/financial analyses, while being able to communicate answers into simple, clear & concise conclusions
• Experience & understanding of Lean methodology & tools, including Hoshin Kanri Strategy Deployment
• Great interpersonal skills & pleasure to work with. Able to work cross-functionally and build bonds with colleagues irrespective of hierarchy, while unafraid to challenge the status quo. You are a team player, yet able to act independently and be proactive.
• Fluency in English
• Relevant master’s degree e.g. business, economics, engineering, or other relevant fields.

In addition, the following are regarded as an advantage:

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt or Certified Lean practitioner - otherwise willing to attend training for this.
