About the job:

In this role of Financial Analyst, M&Ayou get to develop insights that support management decision making. You will work e.g. with business, finance and management teams across Elisa, participating in all stages of M&A process. Most cases have an emphasis on the buy-side with possibility to influence actual investment decisions by giving your professional input to critical discussions.

Key responsibilities:

• Constructing financial models for valuation purposes and analyzing financial statements

• Producing various presentations to Elisa’s top management
• Screening and analyzing potential targets, assisting in due diligence and the execution of the transaction
• Conducting market research
• In addition to M&A related tasks, you get to take part in investor relations and group treasury tasks

What we hope and expect from you:

We don’t expect you to be a ready-made professional since day one, but to succeed in the task we expect you to have:

• Analytical mind - you have the ability to quickly comprehend different business models and combine both qualitative and quantitative data
• Excellent collaborating and communicating skills with ability to work with various stakeholders and senior management team
• Interest in the M&A and financial markets, and understanding about valuations and financial analyzes
• A Master's degree (or near graduation) with an excellent academic track-record in business or equivalent (studies in finance are considered as an advantage)
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills.

In addition, the following are considered as advantage:

• Previous experience in financial modeling
• Working experience in related tasks in, for example, an investment bank or consulting firm
