We are a small and agile team of professionals at Telia Towers, and we are now searching for a Head of IT to complement our crew. Telia Towers is part of Telia Company but has a clear focus to long-term, investment-oriented tower business in Nordics. Telia Towers is partly owned by external investor, which will add international aspect to this role.

Telia Towers is the leading Tower company in the Nordic market. Our assets portfolio consists of about 8500 tower sites in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Our journey ahead combines both optimization of the existing portfolio as well as new investments combined with a solid focus on business growth.

We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Head of IT to develop and supervise the use of Information Technology of Telia Towers. Ideal location for this position is in Solna, Sweden. Other possible locations include Helsinki, Finland or Oslo, Norway.

As Head of IT, you will have a versatile legal role and possibility to be important part of company’s business processes. You will be reporting to CEO of Telia Towers.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop goals and strategy for Towers future IT roadmap
• Lead transformation project to develop cost efficient common Nordic IT platform and to improve customer experience
• Lead the team of IT specialists in Sweden, Finland, and Norway
• Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways to improve and develop operations
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish regular maintenance
• Ensure network security against cybersecurity threats
• In charge of outsourcing agreements in IT area

Your Experience:

• Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information technology and data management
• Deep understanding of modern databases and information system technologies
• Experience to lead change
• Fluency in written and spoken English language is required. Proficiency of Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian is plus
