Elisa Videra are looking for an experienced System Manager/Architect to work with Enterprise Video, Voice & Unified Communications solutions in our multi-national team in Finland.

Due to the massive increase of remote working, the demand for real-time collaboration solutions has increased dramatically especially during the past years. This paradigm shift has also led to an unprecedented transformation of the industry. The solutions are evolving at rapidly, new manufacturers are entering the market, and different kinds of needs have arisen for enterprise customers. Keeping up with the development of solutions may occasionally be challenging, but at the same time also very intriguing.

Job description

In this position you will architect and provide consultancy on any video, voice and unified communications and collaboration solutions to our enterprise customers globally. This is a key role in supporting our global customers in Enterprise Video, Voice & Unified Communications solutions. Your expertise in solution design will occasionally be required in the most complex sales opportunities. You will also take part in developing new products and our existing platform services, ideate and conduct research.

You can be based in either Helsinki or Oulu, where you have the local support of team mates, or remotely anywhere in Finland if you feel like that's your thing. Although the work itself can sometimes be quite autonomous, you will never work alone: our internationally dispersed team always has your back, and despite being physically in many different locations, we work closely together on a daily basis and support and learn from each other constantly. You actively work together with our Professional Services team, Sales and Sales Support, manufacturers, software developers and project management. You will report to the Head of Solution Design and Advisory Services, Eero Heikkilä.

What do we expect from you?

We don't want to sugar-coat anything: this position requires some level of stress tolerance, as it is a demanding and intriguing role. With a problem solver attitude, doer mentality and a solid enthusiasm for technology, you are half-way there! Adapting to your audience is very important as you need to be able to present complex things to a non-technical crowd too. Like the rest of us, we're hoping that you too would be open, honest, and supportive, and happy to work in a cross-cultural and international team.

Desired skills and experience:

• Fluent in speaking and writing English, other languages are considered beneficial
• 3+ years of experience in video, voice or UC industry (video, voice, UC vendor or cloud certifications/trainings are considered an advantage)
• Understanding of IT infrastructures and networking
• ITIL Foundation is considered beneficial
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Strong business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners
• Ability to balance between technology and business to be able to communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions to a variety of stakeholders effectively
• Ability to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the detailed solution design, development, and implementation of software or application.
• Management skills to manage one or more large, complex programs/projects simultaneously
• Collaborator attitude like the rest of us; willingness to share ideas, documentation and leading practices, and being happy working in a global environment with geographically dispersed, virtual teams
• Please note that we will perform a background check on the chosen candidate, which in turn requires having lived in Finland for several years.
