Underground Drilling Division within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is an industry leading global provider of various drilling solutions for underground mining and construction tunneling industries with focus on technology development and future innovative solutions to enable sustainable operations for our customers.

We are now looking for an ambitious and self-driven Product Line Offering Specialist for Underground Drills Division. This is a key position within our Product Management team helping us to reach our strategic targets and objectives in bringing new innovative and industry leading solutions to serve both underground mining and construction industries. The position is full-time, permanent and based in Tampere, Finland.

Your mission

You take the ownership of supporting our sales and business growth ambitions by developing and maintaining some the product line key process’ and functions including related systems and tools. One of your key priorities will be developing and maintaining the product options and configuration rules within our sales tools and systems covering our products that are manufactured in both Tampere, Finland and Lyon, France. You will also act as a coordinator within various product line process’ and internal development projects. During the times of high demand you will also assist the product management team in supporting critical sales deals and various technical inquiries coming from the sales areas. Also participating and hosting various customer groups and visits at the factory will be part of your job description.

Your main responsibilities include

• Technical ownership of product structures and options within our sales tools and systems

• Coordinator of various product line process’ executions

• Product line technical and commercial support during the times of high demand

• Participation for customer meetings and negotiations to understand the industry demands and feedbacks among mining and tunneling applications

• Acting as product line spokesperson within both internal and external stakeholder meetings

Your background

We are looking for an energetic personality with hands on approach for familiarizing and building up a mastery level of skills over various offering management tools and systems. You have gained some years of working experience within international business environment or correspondingly you might be a newly graduated talent willing to take your competence to the next level. University degree (Bachelor or Master’s level) with either commercial or technical background gives you good basis for future growth in this position and within our organization. Previous experience in working with various IT systems and tools is considered as benefit.
