The Clash of Clans game team is calling for a data wizard to join them! Are you curious enough to go through battles of hundreds of millions of players to figure out the optimal battle strategies? Or maybe you are interested more on how people design their villages? Or you would like to help us predict our future? If any of that rings a bell and you happen to be an aspiring data champion, ready to apply either your machine learning skills, data visualisation expertise or just help us build data apps to help with using data to inform us, please throw your CV our way!
Please make sure to add to your CV the courses and projects that have relevant value to this position. We would like to work with you for 3 or 6 months while the timing of the internship is flexible.

Tasks you could work on include
- Intelligent army composition generation
- Intelligent map layout generator
- Offer data explorer
- Game balancing visualization app
- Some financial modeling app
Requirements
- Students and recent graduates in data science, finance, economics related majors, or have equivalent experience through other learning
- Ability to learn quickly
- Capable of building some simple analyses/data app given a problem well defined
- Passion for using data to drive impact
- Fluent in R or Python
- Experience in working with dataset that does not fit in memory
- Interests towards entertainment business such as games
- Ability to work in Finland: citizenship, residency or permit including Finnish tax card
