What is the role all about? 

FMS People Operations currently is a team of 5 dedicated change agents and our focus next year is to unify people processes and tools, enable international growth, support the line managers in their roles regarding recruitment, team member wellbeing and talent engagement as well as management initiatives. To summarize, our focus next year is in managerial development, talent engagement, supporting our leaderment team in culture unification plans and international growth. We have a dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who leads our resourcing and recruitment processes, but in this role, you will be intensively involved in supporting line managers with interviewing and aptitude assessments and hence – having a passion for helping the managers to recruit the right people is needed in order to succeed in this role. We also have a dedicated People Data and Admin Specialist in the team who supports our business partners. We use Mepco and Sympa as well as Recright and AON Assessment. Our payroll is outsourced. 

The People Operations Business Partner supports team members located in Espoo, our HQ in Keilaniemi as well as Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Joensuu, Jyväskylä and Stockholm. We operate in a hybrid model and are open to all our team members being located in any of our key locations. As a team, we have decided that we get together physically at least once a month and work in the office nearest to us with the people we support weekly. For the rest of the time, our team works from home, cottage and at times, from abroad.  

What we are looking for 
 

  • Previous experience of supporting culture change as a HR business partner or HR generalist within the Nordics 
  • Understanding of culture change and unification initiatives, team member wellbeing and candidate selection within a truly diverse workforce  
  • Commitment to employment law and compliance 
  • Ability to understand data andSaaS and/or customer service business
  • Keen interest to verify gut feelings with data analytics whilst sourcing innovative, new solutions to age-old people challenges 
  • Positive, solution focused attitude and a proven track record in problem solving ability 
  • Someone fun - we like to laugh while we work
