Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) IT is now looking for a Lean Application Specialist for our ERP delivery team. The position is permanent and located in our Tampere or Turku office in Finland.

Your mission

Lean system Application Specialist will play a key role in supporting and developing the Lean system ERP solution globally for SMR production units. You will be ensuring that implementation of business processes within the IT application area are done according to set requirements from the business. Evaluation of business requirements and suggesting solutions including time- and cost-estimations is part of your daily work. Important part of the daily work is also managing assigned incidents to our service (investigate, solve, perform status updates and document solution).

Your main responsibilities

• As a part of the ERP support team contribute to incident resolution process within all of the functional areas (warehouse management, production planning and execution, factory logistics, quality management, finance etc.)
• Solve the incidents and collaborate with the vendors when needed.
• Find resolution to the incidents according to SLA targets.
• Lead requirements gathering and validation activities with the ERP Key users and business process owners.
• Transform business requirements into solution designs.
• Carry out the configurations in the system based on the functional design when possible or coordinate the implementation work with the external parties.
• Provide training for the end users.
• Ensure documentation is prepared and maintained according agreed templates and processes
• Execute change management process with the existing tools (Service now, Jira) with high level of the documentation and keeping the data in the systems up to date.
• Support business teams during the creation of user tests and provide functional support during business acceptance testing

Your character & background

You are a highly motivated, delivery focused professional with a passion for excellence. You have hands on attitude to get things done and thrive on working in a multi-cultural environment. Your daily tasks are versatile including the problem resolution as well as managing the development tasks and projects. You have a strong working knowledge with ERP technology and good understanding manufacturing processes. It is essential to have used to working with ERP systems and preferably with Lean System ERP.
