We’re now hiring Industrial OT-solutions Sales Consultant, for permanent employment.

Private Mobile Networks (PMN), a business line within Elisa's Corporate Customers business unit, provides high performance on-premises mobility and edge computing as a services to industrial customers headquartered in Finland. As the Sales Consultant you will report to the head of the business line, and you will not have to work alone since you have the support of our account teams, full of experts in their respective fields.

Although your team is mainly located in Helsinki, PMN decision-makers are scattered all around Finland (especially in locations where our clients are). Thus, we are also flexible on where you are situated in Finland as long as you are reachable to our industrial clients. At Elisa, you work flexibly wherever you achieve the best results.

Job description

Your main responsibility is to land and expand strategic industrial accounts. Your responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for achieving PMN order intake targets
    • Select target customers
    • Develop your own personal network in the target group of accounts
    • Lead and create win plans together with the customer team and the business
    • Direct sales activities to win new strategic PMN accounts and close expansions
    • Direct the negotiations and close of service contracts with strategic accounts
    • Expand the scope of the service with pragmatic steps
  • Validate new business opportunities together with product development team
  • Represent the sales in the development of PMN sales tools, collateral and capabilities
  • Contribute to positive customer satisfaction in strategic accounts
  • Contribute to an industrial customers perspective to Elisa’s industrial business strategy

What we expect from you

You have an existing network with relevant decision makers within the large manufacturing and process industry players in Finland. A bonus would be a contact base in construction, and the specialized healthcare sectors. Success in the job requires a lot of travel, mainly in Finland. We are looking a sales professional with:

  • Proven track record
    • New sales into large accounts (>1B€/y, order intake 0.5-10M€/y/account)
    • Increasing sales in industry 2x-5x
    • Sales of platform services or software applications to industrial production operations
  • Relevant skills
    • Familiar with the benefits of Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, PaaS, Edge computing, private networks
    • Appreciation of opportunities, challenges and risks related to working with OT environments
    • Relevant university degree (at least B.Sc.)
    • At least 5 years of work experience in similar positions
    • Familiar with the Power Base selling or Challenger sales approach
    • Familiar with SalesForce, Teams, Excel, Power point
    • Professional written and oral English and Finnish language skills
