Tehtävän kuvaus

Tampereen yliopiston lääketieteen ja terveysteknologian tiedekunnan bioteknologian ja biolääketieteen tekniikan tutkinto-ohjelmassa on haettavana 15 harjoittelijan paikkaa kesälle 2023.  Harjoitteluaika on vähintään 2 kuukautta. Harjoittelija sijoittuu johonkin lääketieteen ja terveysteknologian tiedekunnan (MET) tutkimusryhmään. Tiedekunta vastaa yhden kuukauden osalta harjoittelijan palkkakustannuksista ja vastaanottava tutkimusryhmä sitoutuu kattamaan harjoittelusta syntyvät loput kustannukset. 

Tehtävän edellytykset

Hakijan tulee olla opiskelijana Tampereen yliopiston bioteknologian ja biolääketieteen tekniikan kandidaatti- tai maisteriohjelmassa tai kansainvälisissä Master's Degree Proramme in Biomedical Technology tai Master's Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineering -ohjelmissa.  Harjoittelupaikat on tarkoitettu kaikille opiskelijoille ensimmäisen vuoden opiskelijoista alkaen. 

Hakijoita arvioidaan saapuneiden hakemusdokumenttien perusteella ja valinnassa käytetään seuraavia perusteita: 

• Saapuneet hakemukset ryhmitellään opintojen vaiheen mukaan neljään ryhmään (1. vsk opiskelijat, 2. vsk opiskelijat, 3. vsk opiskelijat ja maisterivaiheen opiskelijat). Harjoittelupaikat jaetaan suhteutettuna ryhmiin saapuneiden hakemusten lukumäärän mukaisesti.
• Harjoittelupaikkoja ei myönnetä pro gradu- tai diplomityön tekemiseen.
• Harjoittelupaikat on tarkoitettu opiskelijoille, joilla ei ole ollenkaan työkokemusta suoritettavan tutkinnon alalta. 
• Valinnassa painotetaan opintojen edistymistä tavoiteaikataulussa sekä siihen suhteutettua opintomenestystä. 

Harjoittelusta tulee raportoida erikseen annettavan ohjeistuksen mukaisesti.

Tarjoamme

Harjoittelu on kokoaikainen (36h 15 min / vko) ja se alkaa sopimuksen mukaan touko-kesäkuussa. 

Harjoittelijan palkka on 1500 euroa kuukaudessa. Tehtävässä sovelletaan työsopimuslain mukaista koeaikaa.

Job desciption

Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology, Biotechnology Degree Programmes at the Tampere University calls for applications for trainees for summer 2023 for 15 students for period of minimum 2 months. The students will work in the research groups in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology at the Tampere University. The faculty will defray one month of the salary costs and the responsible research group the rest.

Requirements

Prospective applicants should have a study right at the Tampere University in the Degree Programme in Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering, in the Master’s Degree Programme in Biomedical Technology or in the Master's Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences and Engineeering. 

The position is open to all students of the above mentioned degree programmes, it welcomes applications also from the first year students. 

The applicants will be evaluated by the submitted documents and in the selection process the following criteria apply:

• The applications will be categorized in four groups by the current phase in the studies (first year students, second year students, third year students and students in the master's phase). The trainee positions will be divided in proportion according to the number of applications received. 
• The trainee positions will not be granted for writing the Master's thesis.
• The trainee positions are meant for students that don't yet have working experience in the field that their right to study requires.
• The progress in studies in targeted schedule and the success in studies are the main criteria in the selection process of the trainees.

The training period should be reported according to upcoming separate instructions.

We offer

The position is full-time (36h 15 min / week) and the starting date will be in May or June, as per agreement.  

The salary is 1500 euros per month. A trial period applies to all our new employees.
