We are currently looking for a Design Engineer, Electrical & Automation, to join our team in Vaasa, Finland.

Your role and responsibilities 

In this job, you will be making electrical and automation drawings as well as supporting the overall performance within the small team of designers. The projects involve retrofit solutions, such as fuel conversions and engine automation upgrades, with engineering tasks for both on-engine and off-engine equipment in marine and power plant installations. Co-operating with and providing technical support to other departments, such as Project Management, Technical Services or other departments, is part of the daily work.

Requirements for the position 

For this position, we are looking for a person with an interest in investigative work, and who is eager to gain knowledge about power generation technologies. In our team, you will also be a part of an important development towards more environmentally friendly power generation solutions. 

Good English language skills are necessary, as the daily work includes oral and written communication with team members and other people from different parts of the world. Experience of design work coordination and leadership abilities are seen as advantages.
