You will be part of the Strategy team within People and Culture and represent people analytics throughout the organization and to all levels of seniority. Your responsibilities include defining key focus areas and prioritizations within people analytics as well as managing and enhancing people analytics technologies to ensure analytics is usable, valuable, and actionable now and in the future. The role reports to Head of People Strategy. People Analytics is a key enabler for the digital transformation of Telia in delivering actionable and high impact insights for better informed decision making that continuously drive Telia towards achieving its business goals.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Lead the development and management of the overall People Analytics team and strategy.
- Work with the People and Cultures management team on cross-functional themes to foster a data-driven decision culture and conduct data analysis to support the functional teams in their decision-making process
- Create a shared understanding and guide our leaders of how we work with data and build a community of practice across Telia Company
- Create data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders and produce presentations on P&C metrics to track progress and identify trends
- Build, implement and maintain the technology infrastructure needed to ensure resourceful competence sharing and analytics network
- Ensure projects are prioritized by business value and aligned with other analytics projects in the organization
- In close collaboration with the team, ensure high quality methods to manage large datasets from multiple sources and promote a risk-aware approach to data handling

We are looking for a person with solid track record from the People Analytics area that will contribute with strategic skills and a hands on mindset. You like to simplify the complex, and enable data driven decisions for the business. To succeed in this role you need to use your great ability to work cross boarder with stakeholders together with your storytelling skills. We need you to envison the future and provide us with the necessary insights to make the strategy become reality!
Your personal competencies:
- Business savvy - understand how the people agenda contributes to organizational success
- Networker – ability to engage key stakeholders and create cross-functional collaboration
- Resourceful – comfortable working in a changing environment and stays positive even in tough situations
- Result oriented - follow up on progress toward unit objectives, and coordinate resources accordingly
- Communicator - a storyteller with great written and verbal communications skill
- Problem solver - develops effective and workable solutions to problems with an analytical approach
Your experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Business or Data Science
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant hands-on experience in responsibilities mentioned above
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, including data visualization and reporting
- Knowledge of HR systems, data privacy and security regulations, and best practices in data management
- Demonstrated ability to align technology to improve business performance
- Change maker experience from a leading role in an international environment
- Experience from handling large amount of various data in a company with an international footprint
- Fluent in English
- Business experience from a Nordic context is a plus but not mandatory
